Great well pump pressure switch, replaced the burned out one. This one looks a lot more solid and better design. If you’re looking at the el cheapo one’s from China, think about how life without that well water would be after one day.

I have used square Ds for 30 years to hold pressure on a yard irrigating system with disappointing results. The Merrill heavy duty has not failed once to two weeks. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Thank You, Bob Christensen

I bought a Merrill product because I thought it was made in the US and my last 2 Square D's( made in Mexico) locked up during a backwash cycle with the contacts breaking and of course shooting water out the relief valve. I have installed the Merrill to see how it performs but I am disappointed that it was made in "CHINA". Like I said I thought I was buying American!!

I installed this morning, working good, but I came back later checking on my connections I had to make for the pressure sensor tube, it was leaking. Not my connections but on the Switch, I first thought I got some water inside the switch, in soaking it out I kept seeing drips from a screw. Turned out all screws were Lose for the Diaphragm plate under the switch. I tightened all them up, very lose right out of box. I didn't think I needed to check those as they are done at Factory. Anyhow it seems to be fine now. We'll see for it's Durability. Like the Heavy Duty wire terminal's. Hope this help with heat.
