Everything in the C-1000 parts kit fit perfectly! Cleaning out the (probably) 30-year-old valve-stem packing was the hardest part. I'm very happy that replacement parts were available, easy-to-find, and shipped quickly from Merrill. The hydrant now works as well as new.
Thank you also for the excellent videos on your website, which helped guide the replacement. The only small question I had was about the plunger adjustment. The videos I watched didn't explain the ideal separation of the padlock holes when the plunger bottoms out, but I was still able to adjust the valve to seal reliably when closed and to provide full flow when open.

I love your product but I JATE your 25% restocking fee. Did good screw up? Yea I sure did. But to have to pay a restocking fee for you then merely take this erroneous order and stick it back into inventory AND to pay over $74 in postage is, t me, pretty damn excessive.

This the 2nd time I have purchased this kit. The first time all went well and had the job done in less than an hour. This time it did not fix my problem. However that is no fault of the kit. After replacing everything in the kit, we put the faucet back together and still no water flowed. I assume the old plunger is stuck in the housing and is not allowing water to flow. I just had knee replacement surgery and am not able to dig it up. So much for the philosophy of not ever having to dig after one of your faucets is installed. So, I will continue using a 120' hose to fill my steer tank.

All of the parts fit, but there wasn't enough range in adjustment. The water either stayed on or it didn't allow what was available before I replaced old with new parts. I have purchased a screw in lock pin, to take place of the lower jam nut. I am hoping that this will allow for adjustments to stop the flow when lever is down and still allow plenty of flow when the lever is up. I shouldn't have to re-work the faucet and the replacement parts to make it work properly. This is why I gave you a poor rating.
