I needed to replace my pressure tank in my home well system. Purchasing the Merrill cross T assembly at my local supply store, I was unaware of the procedure working with the non-lead materials. But I went ahead anyway, putting together the cross T with new gauge, pressure release switch and electrical control box. I followed the Merrill instructions to the letter, not over tightening as was customary with the old lead pipes. I was not sure it would all come together tight enough without leaking. I even purchased the Merrill thread compound and tape. To my surprise, when I pressurized the system, I did not have one leak. From an old-fashioned home maintenance guy, I say Great Product!
