SIMPLE STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION

STEP 1Safety First

  • WC Cap features vent for air flow and tapping for conduit.
Safety First

STEP 2Clear the Casing

  • Expose the top of the well casing and remove any dirt, rocks, or debris.
  • The top of the casing should be level, take off burrs on outside.
Clear the Casing

STEP 3Install Bottom Ring & O-Ring/Seal

  • Put bottom ring over black casing.
  • Stretch smaller diameter rubber O-Ring over well casing above bottom ring.
  • Ensure the O-ring is clean and free of damage.
  • Proper placement ensures a watertight, sanitary seal.
Install Bottom Ring & O-Ring/Seal

STEP 5Secure the Set Screws

  • Hand-tighten cap bolts thru the bottom ring one at a time.
  • Then use a wrench to snug them up a 1/4 turn more.
  • This locks the bottom O-ring in place without overtightening.
Secure the Set Screws

STEP 6Reconnect the Electrical Wires

  • Reconnect conduit to tapping on cap body.
  • Splice the conduit wires using approved wire connectors inside the cap.
Reconnect the Electrical Wires

STEP 7Bolt the Top Cover

  • With top body O-ring in place, place the top cap lid over the well cap body casting.
  • Tighten the stainless steel bolts and nuts in a star or criss-cross pattern.
  • This ensures even pressure and prevents over-stressing the bolt lugs.
  • Tighten until snug - do not over tighten.
Bolt the Top Cover

STEP 8Finished Installation

  • Your WC Series well cap is now installed.
  • The screened vent helps maintain proper airflow.
  • Protects your system from contaminants, debris, and outside elements by allowing only air to move in and out.
  • Verify all bolts are tight and the installation is secure.
  • You can now restore power to the system.
