Common Questions
Cap or seal — what’s the difference?
Cap covers the casing top for maximum protection. Well seal is simpler and cheaper but offers less protection and complete freeze exposure.
How do I know what size I need?
Match your casing. Most are 4", 5", or 6". Total 4" = 4.5"OD, 5"=5.56"OD, 6"=6.025"OD
Will this help keep bugs and debris out?
A watertight, properly installed cap helps block insects and debris and stops contamination risk.
Do fasteners rust?
Select models include stainless hardware or acorn nuts to cover exposed threads
If I’m unsure, what matters most?
Does your well have a pitless adapter or does pipe from pump come out top of well?
