I measured the main pipe to the hydrant, which was approximately 1-3/8" and I presumed the valve at the bottom would be 1'. I was in correct Turned out that the 1" I.D. has a 3/4" valve. Meanwhile I had install the parts and tried to instand a 1" hydrant repair kit into a 3/4" valve body, which obviously didn't work and I essentially ruined the some of the valve parts. After that I called a plumber who said that the valve repairs rarely work, and they just replace them, so after he told me it would cost $1650 to replace the hydrant,I replaced itself for under $200, which by chance was one of your hydrants. So, I have taken a very indirect to fix the the valve.
